To Pennsylvania
9/27 Saturday
I left home at 0630, to meet Bruce and Nate at Duston Country Club in Hopkinton NH at 0730.
We then headed through VT, NY and into PA almost entirely on secondary roads. Perfect weather, great roads and friends.
Once in PA we saw what looked like a campground. But upon inspection was a riverside field of campers. Seems the same, but you can't find humans or pitch tent in the latter. Down the road a few dozen miles we pulled into a gas station to ask about local campgrounds. Turns out the gas station also had a tavern and more importantly a few upstairs rentable rooms. So we rented a one room apparentl for $100. It had a separate bedroom (for muffle snoring Nate) and a futon and couch for Bruce and I. I decided to just bring in my camping matrice and sleep on the floor. Turns out the tavern food was decent, and we didn't have to ride anywhere else (read as "can have beers").
Now we've been up, solving most of the worlds major problems in our living room. Good night moon, moments before the clock signaled it was a new day.
